Ms. Renee Gayden, Assistant Principal
Greetings to our Amberlea Elementary School community, I am the extremely proud Assistant Principal at Amberlea. I have more than twenty (20) years of educational experience, ranging from teaching to administration. Prior to my educational tenure, I also possessed an extensive background in both juvenile and adult corrections. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a double Master’s in Education, to include an Educational Specialist degree. I have had the unique opportunity to reside in several countries around the world, and have held dual citizenship in the United States and England due to family military connections. This has provided me with an appreciation for diverse cultures and a profound respect for beliefs and practices that are different from my own. I believe that each student has a uniqueness that enhances their individuality. This is a trait that can be nurtured in order to build a productive character, and ensure that each child has a successful personal and academic outcome. Building positive relationships among all stakeholders is the foundation and belief that I fully embrace and promote within the Amberlea community.
